Modelling is engrossing as a solitary hobby, but much more rewarding when shared. Especially when the experience of others avoids wasted money or time.
We aim to be a sociable club, indeed on our club night on Wednesdays there is often more talking than modelling, and the sub-groups within the club working on particular layouts organise "working days" when they can concentrate on advancing their layout. And we organise other events, both social and modelling.
We have about 40 members (not all male!) with a typical attendance on a Wednesday of about 15. Interests range from N to 5 1/4" gauge, standard gauge and narrow gauge (in several scales), Southern Region to China and Australia, and we have several tram enthusiasts.
We have a wide range of equipment and facilities available to members.
