Thomas's Junction was the most popular exhibit with the younger attendees..




Federal Street is a large P87 layout depicting central Pittsburgh.




Cartsdyke Yard is an O gauge layout set in the North East.




Some very early model trains were on show, above Trix Twin from 1930s - 50s, and below Bing trains from the 1920s, including the first 2mm models in the foreground.






Lee-on-the-Solent (P4) was an attempt at establishing a new resort on the South Coast, but it was never successful and the railway closed in the 1930s.




East Street Wharf is an EM layout showing a canal wharf/railway interchange in a small town.




Mellin Parva is an O 16.5 layout showing a small station and wharf.




Live steam rides were provided by Frimley and Ascot Locomotive Club, who operate Frimley Lodge Minature Railway.




Woolton Junction is a modern image layout in N gauge, set in North Hampshire.

Members of the club demonstrated model building, or more often just chatted to people about queries they had.




West Bay is a small modern OO layout.




Over 20 traders relieved visitors of some of their spare change.




Aberdeen is an N scale layout set in North Carolina.




St Aidans (N) shows BR Midland region in steam days.




Aldermouth (O) is a sleepy GWR terminus.




Greenfield Sidings is our clubs new OO layout, which as you can see still has a lot of work to be done!
